Turkey Time

My break plans include:

\\ a dentist appointment

\\ golf with my dad

\\ bake my first apple pie

\\ eat till I explode

\\ set up the christmas tree

\\ head to west texas

\\ & try and put a dent in my hw due next week.

I thought this was suppose to be a break from school...? hmph.

Dear blog,

I'm sorry I haven't been around lately. But school has my undivided...well most of my attention. I have missed posting on you everyday and don't have any intentions of getting rid of you. Since there are 31 days until Christmas Break, it's time for this girl to sit down and churn out the best I can for the rest of this semester. I promise to stop by every now and then to make the occasion post, and come Christmas break, I I will dive in head-first. I have lots of goodies saved up that I have not had time to sort through and cannot wait to share with you what has been going on in my life.

the calm before the storm

There's no better way to describe how I feel about school right now more than the calm before the storm. I can feel the end of the semester approaching which means all the end of semester papers and projects.

I already have this printed out and taped to my mirror so I see it every single day.

Red River Rivalry Weekend was a blast and a half and I finally got the pictures off of my little point&shoot.

I don't know the Dallas area at all but I do know that Friday night we went out to Across the Street Bar (apparently where all the UT people go that weekend...?)

It's been almost a month ago since I decorated this cooler for the weekend to Dallas.

But I thought I'd share anyways.

I definitely had higher expectations than how it turned out. It was done way too soon before we left for Dallas so I wasn't able to spend as much time on it as I would have liked. I like it, but I don't love it. I'm happy I did it because I foresee decorating coolers in the future for other events as well.
