One-Pot Pasta

Ingredients

• 6 cups water
• 1 1/2 cup pasta
• 1 cup broccoli florets
• 1 crushed garlic clove
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• zest of lemon 
• juice of 1/2 of lemon
• 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese.
• salt & pepper

Instructions:

• Cook pasta according to directions on package. (Mine was 10-11 min for al dente.)
• When there is 6 minutes left, add broccoli florets.
• Drain pasta & broccoli.
• Return to the pot.
• Add crushed garlic cloves, olive oil, zest & juice of a lemon, salt & pepper, & parmesean cheese and combine.
