One-Pot Pasta
Ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 1 1/2 cup pasta
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- zest of lemon
- juice of 1/2 of lemon
- 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese.
- salt & pepper
Instructions:
- Cook pasta according to directions on package. (Mine was 10-11 min for al dente.)
- When there is 6 minutes left, add broccoli florets.
- Drain pasta & broccoli.
- Return to the pot.
- Add crushed garlic cloves, olive oil, zest & juice of a lemon, salt & pepper, & parmesean cheese and combine.
SUCCESSES
Easy, quick and filling.
FAILURES
I used juice from 1 lemon and it was way too much.
